The DelphiController and DelphiStamp

We provide kits containing hardware, software and documentation for developing firmware for AVR controllers. The hardware consist of a micro controller, supporting peripherals like voltage regulators, XTAL oscillator and communication chips and an evaluation board with supporting hardware. The Software Development Kit contains an operating system, loader / programmer, monitor server, application server, communication DLL, assembler, linker, a Delphi / Lazarus compatible compiler and template applications. The documentation includes manuals and detailed project descriptions.

Three different kind of applications can be created:

1. The controller as interface.
On the DelphiController / DelphiStamp is a resident application server active synchronizing connected hardware with the content of an in-memory record. The content of this record is available for r/w in Delphi and Lazarus applications through a communication DLL. The Delphi / Lazarus application acts as GUI, controller and communication layer. During development the application runs in the IDE in simulation mode. For standard hardware simulation templates and demo applications are provided.

2. Stand alone controller with GUI.
On the DelphiController / DelphiStamp is a resident monitor server active synchronizing connected hardware with the content of an in-memory record. The content of this record is available for r/w in Delphi and Lazarus applications through a communication DLL. The Delphi / Lazarus application acts as GUI and communication layer. The firmware is developed as Pascal application in the Delphi / Lazarus IDE, the IDE is also used for debugging in simulation mode. After cross compilation the firmware is programmed in the kit. For standard hardware simulation templates and demo applications are provided.

3. Stand alone controller.
The supplied IDE is used to write Pascal and AVR assembly firmware an applications. To control standard hardware the drivers are part of the BIOS. Debugging is done in the Studio emulator or using the optional ICE JTAG emulator. Provided templates and operating system allows for a quick start.
